Set within The Tannery’s Victorian arcade, this compact but prestigious tenancy required a design that honoured the heritage setting while meeting modern operational needs. After an earlier concept was declined, we reimagined the space with warm timber finishes, period lighting, and custom-made cabinetry to maximise functionality. The result is a refined, practical fitout that seamlessly complements the arcade’s character

Located on Christchurch’s iconic New Regent Street, this compact café needed a smarter use of space. By reconfiguring the layout and introducing custom shelving, we created valuable floor area and improved functionality — all while maintaining the café’s charm and character

TERRACOTTA DAY SPA 

Nestled in the heart of Rolleston Square, Terracotta Day Spa is a serene wellness destination offering a luxurious, calming experience.

Astute was engaged to provide full design, project management and fitout delivery, coordinating trades, services and finishes to meet a tight timeframe and maintain a high level of quality.

The design was carefully developed to align with IL4 standards, ensuring performance and safety requirements were met without compromising the spa’s aesthetic.

The result will be a warm, terracotta-toned & limewashed interior that blends natural textures with refined detailing.
